I moved to Glasgow and joined AlbaVet in May 2005 as Practice Manager. Previous to this I had worked in a busy small animal hospital where I gained ten years of nursing experience and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in October 2001. I have since trained as an assessor allowing me to assist in nurse training.

At AlbaVet I am responsible for the day to day running of the practice, and assisting with nurse training. However, I also help out the nurses with their day to day duties when needed. I enjoy getting involved with all aspects of pet and client care, with my biggest satisfaction seeing the former going home healthy and the latter happy.

In my spare time I love socialising, swimming, keep fit and shopping. I also try to visit my 9 year old cat, Abbey, as much as possible. She lives with my parents, because unfortunately she did not want to leave home!
