I joined AlbaVet in November 2007 as a veterinary nursing assistant and work mainly within the reception area. However I also assist the vets and nurses with their daily duties such as handling and restraint of pets during examination and blood testing.

I am currently completing a certificate in nutrition which will allow me to become a Veterinary Nutrition advisor. This an area of great interest to me as a good diet is the key to a healthy, happy pet. My next aim is gaining a qualification as an animal nursing assistant and then ultimately hope to train as a veterinary nurse.

Out with my work at AlbaVet I enjoy going for walks with my dog Sunny, pictured with me. She is a 11 year old, Labrador cross who loves going for walks at the park and lots of attention! I also enjoy socialising with family and friends and reading-anything and everything!
