Fit For Life Healthcare Plan

The opportunity to budget monthly for your pet’s health needs

Whether you are a new or an existing client we would like to thank you for choosing Albavet Veterinary Surgery. Our aim is to provide the best possible healthcare for your pets in a pleasant friendly environment. As a modern veterinary surgery we are committed to keeping abreast of the latest developments in modern veterinary practices, and providing high-quality treatment at a sensible price. To enable pet owners to spread the cost of routine treatments we have designed our own practice healthcare scheme- Fit For Life Healthcare Plan.

Prevention is better than cure

  • Our practice healthcare plan provides pet owners with the support they need to help keep their pets fit and well.

  • Regular clinical examinations give us the opportunity to carefully monitor the general health of your pet and offer advice, support and treatment planning, which in many cases may prevent problems arising in the future. In addition regular visits mean that we have the opportunity to administer necessary vaccinations and dispense accurate and up-to-date worming and flea treatments.

  • Furthermore, the cost of maintaining the good health of your pets is spread throughout the year by making Direct Debit payments – it couldn’t be simpler.

  • Whilst spreading the cost of routine treatments, all members then qualify for discounts on other items and services within the practice.

How do I register?

Please call at the practice to complete a simple registration form, which will require your bank account details. Practice staff will be happy to answer any queries you may have.

Insured Pets

Our practice strongly advises that you consider insuring your pet. Of course like any insurance, if you don’t need to claim you might wonder if it is worth paying the premiums, but as soon as you’re pet suffers an accident or illness it is a great feeling to know that you will be able to provide your pet with the best possible care available regardless of cost. Remember that some surgical operations can quickly reach sums of hundreds of pounds and with the high cost of modern drugs the treatment of basic medical complaints can easily soar above the excess payment as well. For peace of mind ask the nursing staff for more information and advice on insurance or pick up a leaflet in reception.
