I’m Alison, one of the vets here at AlbaVet. I settled here in 2005, having worked all over the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

I love all aspects of my job, especially the fact that I get to work with all shapes and sizes of animals, and enjoy working with their owners. I like medicine and surgery equally, and have a real soft spot for rabbits and guinea pigs. I hope to complete an acupuncture training course this year which will help broaden the service we offer.

I have one crazy pet, a Bengal cross cat called Jack ( AKA Captain Jack Sparrow) who keeps me on my toes ( and covered in scars!!).

Outside work I enjoy keeping fit especially running, and spending time with friends and family.
